We are excited to have started our research at the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad. We aim to explore new aspects of organic chemistry with the particular interest of generating synthetic scaffolds that offer highly specific reagents for biological studies. Received Start-up research grant from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), India.

May 25th, 2023 

Received research grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), India on the Creation of nodal centers for the production of imported APIs, KSMs, and intermediates to achieve self-sufficiency in healthcare sector.

Debabrata's paper about the inhibition of islet amyloid polypeptide (IAPP) aggregation by macrocyclic host Cucurbit[7]uril was accepted as a "Hot Paper" in Chemistry-A European Journal. Aggregation of IAPP is associated with Type 2 Diabetes.
